it is better to start trading rather quickly with a small

Peter Devaere is passionate about trading. And he likes to share his tips and tricks in different ways (ebooks, website, seminars, ...). Based on his personal experience and his teachings he knows that, for someone trying to find out his way in this business, it is better to start trading rather quickly with a small, real money account (instead of paper trading) trying out a lot of transactions. This way good trading habits and discipline can be focused upon. A special chapter is completely devoted to social trading : an opportunity to establish a track record and a real time test.

A lot of advice and tips reminding new and current traders that you must start from square one and learn/grow to a better professional trader. This is done by tracking your trading through journals in his books. I have read all of them....you should too.

A good place to start…..

I have recently read a lot of book on trading, specifically day trading. So I need one that gives me a breakdown with specific figures. So when I saw this I thought; why not. Let’s see what I can learn from the author. Wesley Smith focusses on starting small and being focused on learning to be a good trader rather than wanting to get rich quick as there is no such thing. Wanting to get rich with actually working is a myth that doesn’t exist in this world. Most successful people worked hard to be who they are today. Of you want to start day trading then I highly recommend this book. The author takes a different turn into teaching you step by step how you can actually become a good trader before throwing in large investments and ultimately losing all your money.

About the Author

Ralph H. Petrucci

Ralph Petrucci received his B.S. in Chemistry from Union College, Schenectady, NY, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Following ten years of teaching, research, consulting, and directing the NSF Institutes for Secondary School Science Teachers at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, Dr. Petrucci joined the planning staff of the new California State University campus at San Bernardino in 1964. There, in addition to his faculty appointment, he served as Chairman of the Natural Sciences Division and Dean of Academic Planning before retiring from teaching.

 

F. Geoffrey Herring

Geoff Herring received his B.Sc. and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, both from the University of London. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Dr. Herring has research interests in the area of biophysical chemistry and has published over 100 papers in the area of physical chemistry and chemical physics. Recently, Dr. Herring has undertaken studies in the use of information technology and interactive engagement methods in teaching general chemistry with a view to improving student comprehension and learning. Dr. Herring has taught chemistry from undergraduate to graduate levels for 30 years and has twice been the recipient of the Killam Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

 

Jeffry D. Madura

Jeffry D. Madura received his B.A. from Thiel College and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Purdue University. He is currently Professor and Chair in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Madura’s research interests are in the area of computational chemistry and biophysical chemistry, and he has published over 70 papers in the area of physical chemistry and chemical physics. Recently, Dr. Madura has undertaken studies in the use of technology and interactive personal response systems in teaching general and physical chemistry with the goal of improving student comprehension and learning.  Dr. Madura has taught chemistry from undergraduate to graduate levels for 15 years and has been the recipient of a Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award.

 

Carey Bissonnette

Carey Bissonnette received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, Ontario and his Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Camridge. He is currently Continuing Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Waterloo. He has won awards for excellence in teaching, including the University of Waterloo’s Distinguished Teacher Award in 2005. Dr. Bissonnette has made extensive use of technology in both the classroom and the laboratory in order to create an interactive environment for his students to learn and explore. For the past several years, he has been actively engaged in undergraduate curriculum development, high school liaison activities, and the coordination of the University’s high school chemistry contests that are written each year by thousands of students around the world.

Good book, Low printing quality

I have no question about the content. It is a great book written by famous authors in this field. However, the printing quality of the book (that I received) is not good. I guess that it is a print on demand version and came out from an inkjet printer (not a laser printer), so a lot pictures are not clear. A little bit disappointed, the price does not match my expectation.

This book helped me understand the field of additive manufacturing. I really appreciated the history and how thorough the book is. I don't have a materials background and still could still understand everything. Wonderful book!

This board book is nice and big

This board book is nice and big, with darling and very colorful illustrations. My grandson just loves it! We read it along with the little youtube video of the same title and its such a good go-together.

Incredible art and fun, humorous story

This book has always entertained all the children I have read it to. The art is clear and cute. A tired zookeeper (Joe) checks on all the animals in his zoo, but unbeknownst to him, the zookeeper is followed by Gorilla, who has pilphered the zoo's keys. Hence, the animals follow Joe and Gorilla to Joe's home across the street from the zoo. Each animal follows the oblivious Joe into his home and each selects a warm, quiet spot in the house for a more comfortable sleep. I will leave the rest of the story to your own read (no spoilers here.)

I have never tired of reading this to my students or children in my life. It is truly a winner.

I am adding here that it has been now become my practice to give this as a board book at baby showers. I think it would be a shame that there be any mothers and children who have not bonded over this book. The colors, the humor, the predictability, the little gimmicks like the balloon in the air through out the book... my, it's just impossible to fail with this book.

Goodnight, Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann is a fun story with minimal words and a lot of sneaky action.

As Zookeeper Joe makes his rounds to say goodnight to all of the animals in the zoo, the sneaky gorilla steals his keys! While Joe says his goodnights to each animal in the zoo, gorilla follows along and sets each animal free from his cage. All of the animals then follow Joe home, where his wife wishes him a goodnight and they wish her a "goodnight" in response.

Children can relate to Gorilla and his desire to sleep in the zookeeper's bed. My kids always found it quite humorous when the zookeeper's wife discovered all of the animals.

My kids also loved searching for the mouse with the banana on each page.

This book is wonderfully illustrated and we love this charming story.

King Saul by Samuel Ridout

This is probably one of the most intelligent explanations for this complex character I've read so far. It takes the Old Testament and places this person in the context of the time with Eli and Samuel, but not how we normally hear about these people and the spiritual state of the Isrealites. He explains things so carefully in a spiritual way that God's abandoning the Tabernacle at Shiloh finally makes sense to me. The plague when the Isrealites looked into the Ark of the Testimony also makes sense. It is very well written by a godly man and is worth the effort to read. I just wish I had found it earlier and read it sooner than I have, since many questions I have had have been put in context and answered. His other books are well worth reading... at least the ones I've read so far, but I intend to read more of them. Unfortunately, they are readily available only in Kindle, but the Kindle versions are easily navigable in the format of the ones I've bought so far. It is hard to buy the book to give away in Kindle format, when the written copies are unavailable.
